Salary: £50000 - £60000 per annum + Benefits

Independent branding agency based in Windsor are looking for an inspiring, visionary, articulate and thoughtful Senior Designer to step up into a Design Director/Creative Director role within their brand consultancy. You will be the most senior creative within the organisation.

Sectors they work in include- consumer goods, retail, travel, media and technology. Their clients include some of the biggest FMCG names in the world, as well as a number of entrepreneurial Private Equity owned brands.

You will have had essential experience within a UK based branding or communication agency working with recognised UK and International consumer brands on creative strategy and ideas, positioning, brand design, brand identity, portfolio, innovation, communication and packaging design. You will be able to create, plan and deliver a strategic vision for our clients brands.

The role, skills and responsibilities of the Design Director/ Creative Director:

You will be able to translate and interpret insight and express strategic thinking and ideas across a wide mix of brand design and communications, whether it is creating a brand story, identity, campaign, digital application, an innovation platform, brand identity or packaging concept design. You will be able to explain your ideas in a highly coherent, eloquent, moving and motivating way. This is a hands on team focused role role and you will be engaged in motivating and inspiring our design and marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Develop big brand ideas, thinking conceptually, creatively and strategically. You will be able to create a vision for a brand or brands. Be able to apply your thinking across multiple channels where required.

  • Be happy to work creatively across multiple sectors and audiences and have essential experience working on consumer branded businesses.

  • Have very strong creative rationale to support thinking executed in the form of expression boards, mood boards, concepts and face to face meetings, this is a hands on role.

  • Support our wider strategy and innovation team in workshops, creative inspiration sessions and in front of clients selling in creative ideas.

  • Be the internal creative leader, helping others to think in an expansive, innovative and expressive way.

Salary will depend on experience, 8-10 years required; expect a full package of benefits and flexible working.
