Creative Services Manager

Salary: £45000 - £55000 per annum

Innovative, award winning design agency working across the strategy and design space are looking for a proven Creative Services Manager to join their head office based in Central London. You will be fully established in the role as Creative Services Manager with a desire for the role to expand operationally focusing more on the wider company including end to end workflow as well as the creative resourcing. This could result in a partnership with the Finance Director and MD to look at more commercial elements in the business such as rate cards, project scoping and how as a team you could create the best proposals.

Initially the key purpose of this role is to manage resource and ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day running of the Studio. You will support the Creative Directors and Client Services team to manage the creative services and ensure the quality of the creative product is the best it can be. You will be passionate about the creative industry, have great communication skills, be flexible and highly organised with a passion for detail and deadlines.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Creative Directors and Client Services team to schedule multiple projects large and small and ensuring that work is correctly trafficked through the studio, across all creative teams
  • Co-ordinating deadlines, workflow and studio staff
  • Holding weekly status meetings and managing the daily schedule
  • Liaising with the account team on their client requirements
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the Finance team to ensure we are working to budgets
  • Liaising with recruiters and managing freelance bookings and paperwork accordingly
  • Working HR Coordinator, Facilities and IT to ensure everything is ready for new starters
  • Anticipate upcoming needs and requirements for the office in terms of IT, facilities, equipment, logistics and other requirements, particularly for freelancers
  • Raise POs and process invoices in SAP relevant to this role
  • Continuously review processes to ensure that they are efficient and fit for purpose and make suggestions and recommendations for improvements
  • Creating a monthly forecast to ensure best practices of planning

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within a creative agency
  • Comfortable managing across a wide variety of projects
  • Experience of working with or implementing workflow management systems
  • Thorough understanding of the creative process and thinking ahead
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a solution focused approach
  • Previous experience in a commercially driven, fast paced and (preferably) creative environment
  • Strong people management skills
