HR Manager for Creative Agency

This supremely successful creative agency is looking for a stand alone HR Manager to join their London office. This role would suit an Advisor looking to progress their career.

Our client an independent multi award-winning agency with international offices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively manage the HR systems to ensure all personal details and records are kept up to date and in keeping with legal and auditing requirements and expectations
  • Manage and complete all HR administration including completing employment paperwork, benefits and reward admin
  • Partner with the Design and Account Management teams to help manage the graduate and intern programmes
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for all roles from drafting a job description and responding to speculative enquiries, through to welcoming candidates on their first day
  • Support our managers in the selection of candidates in every part of the business by attending interviews and developing selection processes suitable for the role
  • Welcome all employees to the business and manage their introduction and induction, supporting them to settle quickly and easily into the Company
  • Maintain and apply the policies and procedures to ensure the company are managing their people effectively and in line with legal requirements and the Company culture
  • Manage any performance management, disciplinary or grievance conversations, coaching and supporting our managers through the process in a positive way
  • Support and coach our managers through the annual review process, helping them to prepare for meetings and manage individual development
  • Identify training opportunities to use the Company's internal expertise and source other providers to deliver against their training plan and manage the admin associated with any training

This role would ideally suit an Advisor with 4+ years experience within the HR department of an creative agency, looking to step up in to a stand alone Manager role.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be good with people and have a natural instinct for what people are really feeling and can get them to open up to you
  • Be friendly and approachable, whoever you're dealing with
  • Be resilient to people pressures and even the most unexpected thing doesn't knock you off balance
  • Not be phased by seniority, able to advise, coach and support any manager to deal with people issues
