#Twistglobal

Well it's nearly time for 'Twist Global' to touch down in Singapore; direct this time followed by Hong Kong on the return leg. Whilst Paul is out with me for the first week I'll be staying on in HK with a whirlwind trip to Tokyo for 3 days the following week followed by a few more days in HK before flying back.

The last two / three weeks have been heavily Asia focussed in terms of talking to candidates and clients on the other side of the world; whilst all the time trying to remain a strong and effective recruitment partner for our key clients based here in the UK and Europe. In terms of global reach I'm pleased to say at this particular time Twist Global have roles in; New York City, London, Paris, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Pretty global, I think you would agree?!

This is the last quarter for many of our clients in the UK and the same is to be said for many in the APAC Region too. The plan is to meet some friendly local faces, people we have placed, and placed with, whilst reaching out to some new clients and others we were unable to connect with last time out. I'm pleased to say we have meetings lined up with the likes of local market 'Presidents' from large group owned businesses, to owners of smaller independents both well known in the UK and from local agencies. This time around we wanted to try and secure times to meet with some candidates that know the region well and who we have been actively working with too. On top of this we are meeting with a couple of local recruiters, all of which have come recommended and are successful in the local region. I'm sensing it will be busier this time around than in May!

Twist Global fly out on the 16th October, which is this Friday landing at 4pm local time on Saturday the 17th in SG. We chose to stay at the same colonial hotel we stayed in last time; The Scarlet Hotel. The Scarlet is based just west of China Town and is about as Central as you can get in SG! A great location to use as a base; and a nice retreat at the end of the day to unwind after being on our feet all day.

We fly out of SG on Wednesday 21st in the evening landing at HK International around midnight on the 21st. We have chosen to stay on The Island again as this is where the majority of our meetings and clients are based, plus it offers the best locations (in our mind) to meet with candidates and clients alike. Last time we stayed in Causeway Bay, this was on the East side of The Island, this time we are a couple of stops West so more Central and are staying in Wan Chai at The Cosmopolitan. Anyone stayed here? Reason for choosing Wan Chai is it's incredibly good Central location with local amenities just a stroll or a cheap taxi ride away!

The diary is looking pretty full; however if you are a client looking to hire this year or making plans in 2016 we want to hear from you! Equally if you are a strong candidate from either a creative, strategic, or client service background and are considering options for next year drop me a line and we will do our best to try and schedule a meeting whilst we are over.

2016 is on track to be Twist Global’s biggest year yet; but that can only happen with YOU. So get in touch and let's have a chat!
